2015ish Yukon as G tow rig?

Is anyone using a 15 or so Yukon Denali as a tow rig on a G23? I have a 4x4 diesel Excursion and it could pull whatever but Im wanting something a little newer with more comfort for long hauls. Would likely have to be 4x4 and an Xl.

    Thanks in advance!

You'll be fine. I have a 2015 Suburban LTZ (same as your Yukon except you have more bells and whistles) and it pulls my G23 just fine. The factory air ride system really helps out with the stability from leveling out the rear end so it's not sagging from the tongue weight. Besides the 8.5-9 mpg it does just fine.
The ignition is off in the picture so the rear end is sagging just a bit. But when it's running and the compressor pumps up the rear air ride system it levels out very nicely.

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra Denali 1500 with the 6.2 and our 2017 GMC Yukon Denali 6.2 pulls way smoother

I pull my 16 G23 with a 15 Yukon XL Denali. We are a family of 6. Not a problem.

I have a 2014 Yukon Denali and just drove from Houston to table rock lake in Missouri pulling my G21 with no problems. Auto airbags are a big help while towing

My first road trip with our 2016 G23 and 2008 Denali XL with the 6.2 liter made my wife nervous through the twisty canyon passes. The G, fully loaded for a week on the lake, was a bit much for this older Denali. The difference between the 16 Duramax GMC and 08 Denali XL was dramatic when pulling a fully loaded G in twisty mountain passes. No comparison. There was plenty of power with the 6.2 liter, just the 1/2 ton chassis felt outmatched by the girth of the G23.
