No shoes. Carpet or seadek. Ive seen sandals step in warm gum or through oil drips walking from the parking lot to the docks... Not worth it.
i have a storage bin probably 24x12x6" under one of the flip up seats, everyone knows it's the shoe bin, when they get on shoes get dropped in there. I put velcro on the bottom so it stays put, every few weeks I pull it out to dump all the dirt it collects. Wish I had a photo. Works great

Our boat is docked at our cabin all season. Nobody allowed to wear shoes on the boat. Like others, if we are going to the marina for supplies or restaurant, hand carry footwear only. This is another reason I love the walk-through on our SV-211--it's on the side next to the dock so that is where I encourage people to step to enter boat as well so minimal stepping on vinyl.

No shoes in the house and no shoes on the boat. The back cooler is where they go on my G23. Why....just think about the places your shoes have been and if you would want that on your floor....on the walk to the boat down the dock where the ducks and birds have been and in public restrooms.

Also, I don't stand on your furniture so please don't stand on my boat seats.

Not only do I not allow shoes, but I outlaw clothes altogether!

There's a reason they sell this sticker.

I always wear Teva shoes on my boats and do not discourage others frim doing so as well. There are so many ways to cut up your feet on a boat and dirt is far easier to clean than blood. Use a boarding mat if there is no walk through.

Shoes off in the shoe bag, keeps dirt contained.

I dont say take off your shoes, but when we bring friends and they see my family take off their shoes and leave them on the dock or put them in the 5 gallon shoe bucket the friends better catch a clue. Otherwise I say something.
Im always thinking re-sale value as well as "you're not gonna help clean up anyway..."

You beat me to it. Either your shoes stay off or you stay off! Ditto on all the reasons!!!!
