I have built rails on my truck bed that will carry my Z5 bimini while transporting to/from the lake. The rails were designed to keep the Z5 mostly out of the wind during transport. I now want to tow with my tower down. I have rubber stops that keep the FCT5 from hitting the boat when lowered (keep in mind this tower was retrofitted on a 2007 220). It doesn't necessarily "lock" into place when lowered. Any ideas on how to keep it down while towing? I thought of hooking to the ski locker handle but I assumed that would put a ton of stress on the handle and the fiberglass. I also thought of a sand back sitting in the middle of the boat during transport that I hook to.
