    GS22 - too wet?

My local deal said they are not buying the GS22 because they felt it got the passengers too wet? Anybody have one that can comment on that?

I've not been in one yet, but you cannot exactly compare it to a G23. I have seen one at the dealership and the difference in depth is huge. The GS is very shallow and even the seats looked awfully short. So there is no doubt that there will be more potential to take on rollers, and being lower to the water, there has to be a little more spray.

Hopefully Nautique learned something from the 1st generation G hull and didn't do the same thing with the GS boats. The 1st generation G hull funnelled water straight up the side and into the air, and with any breeze, it was a constant rainstorm.

I have not experienced a wet ride with this boat even surfing into the wind. This is the first time I have heard of this.

Road in one last weekend and didn't experience this . We have a 210 and rarely get a bit of a splash . Not a big deal as the whole purpose I'm in the lake is to get in the water . Kinda feels nice when it's 110 degrees

With a lot weight in the front and wind blowing pretty hard you can get some spray. You can help control this by taking NCRS off the auto mode and have it set in bow up configuration. At cruising speed there doesn't seem to be a problem, only slow speeds. I would not consider it a "problem". Same existed on our Mcraft we had for 12 years. Freeboard depth is still very deep for this boat(deeper than second gen x-star). I think those who think it's shallow are very mistaken- maybe due to comparisons to the G. The massive depth of the G is exactly why we avoided buying the G. We are loving our GS22 !
