Firstly, make a ballast system that actually works and is easily upgradeable. Find a good solenoid valve system for the through hulls that ties into the fill power lines. Put a larger belly sack/tank in, go for 500 at least. If that makes the rear tanks smaller, than so be it, make them so they are removed for the owner to put their own 500 lb plus sacks in there. Add a fourth tank in the bow, even if it's 40 lbs so you can use the plumbing for a big bow sac. People who buy the 210 buy it for the simple reason that they will put 2000 lbs in it and go launch, period. I realize that CC has to keep the ballast at a certain weight to keep the CG approval etc so all I am asking is that they make the system easy to upgrade with a few sacs and some plumbing fittings. Wakeboard boats start with a good hull shape and then you slam it down. Alot of us folks simply don't want a big boat, we want our 210 so we can wakeboard.
Secondly, bling the friggin thing. Add a big alternator, amps, and a real subwoofer option for the kick panel. Wire it nicely instead of some completely insane mess hanging from the dash pod. Five us some billet stuff, not some spraypaint that takes an act of congress to match the color and texture. DONT UNDERSIZE YOUR WIRING. Gimme some bling and some thump so I don't end up spending another couple thousand and every free weekend with my head in the kick panel rewiring everything. That kick panel has like 4-5 cubic feet of unused space in it, WHAT A FRICKIN WASTE, all that's in there is a big giant rats nest of split tubing, zip-ties, and electrical tape. There is also this hole that all these tubes come up out of the bilge, it looks like the gate to heck.
Get rider and user input!!! Forget the stupid too small coolers, give us some storage compartments, stop taking up precious space with smooth bottom coolers that never get used. I need places to stow tools, fluids, ropes, vests, handles, anchors, bumpers, etc. Find out how riders actually stay organized and order their day. We use soft coolers for day use anyway. A good exersize would be to take about 6 people out in the boat for a half day of riding and hanging.
GO back to the original FCT or offer it as an option. Duh.
How about colored decks?? what the heck??
Give everyone some graphics options or in gel graphics.
A very high torque motor. Gimme that hole shot and let me cruise 30-35 and I am happy.
Make the 210 the best it can be and focus on the wakeboard crowd that want a smaller nimble boat, and trust me there are alot of them.

That quote of Flux's should be put on the homepage of PN. That is about the best thing ever written on this site. While I don't have a 210 I have been around enough of them to feel your pain. I have a team air 216 with some of the same headaches. Different chapter, same book. Here's my beef. The difference in the Signature, LE, and Team are little enough that with a box of spare parts and a couple pots of coffee I could make one the other in a day.
When you buy a team edition, in any of their line, "bling" the freakin' thing. Especially if it's got a tower on it for boarding. We're already dropping big $$$ for the team edition. CC has never been accused of being the cheapest boat company. If you don't want to put honkin' ballast tanks in them at least make it easy for expansion. Furthermore, wire the team editions for a decent stereo expanion. Okay CC so you don't want to dump a whopping system in it cause everyone has their own opinion, at least put a bigger alt in it, monter cables, bigger battery, decent wiring harnesses, and make putting a kicker system in it less than a weeks work.
If CC doesn't want to do the systems someone in Orlando should open up a shop near the plant to "trick your boat." Goes from the plant to get the system in it, back to the plant to get wrapped, and shipped.
I agree that the 210 should be strictly a wakeboard boat, not a family boat, and done right.

What says the current 210 won't be renamed (aka x1) and a fully new 210 released. Would this be a bad thing. Keeping the die-hard 95-06 210 owners happy but also allowing a new boat in the line up?WWW.WAKE.COM.AU

The current X1 has been killed due to a lack of sales. If I am CC I pay attention to that and concentrate on what does volume, not what makes the 1% of us happy. My dealership has not sold many 210s at all this year. 211 and 220 are the ones getting the business.

The current 210 is one of the bigger sellers in OZ. I say keep the old 210 for a few years till the "new" 210 is a proven thing just like they did with the x star. Then can it.WWW.WAKE.COM.AU

Hmm... I was told that it was no more by the dealership. I stand corrected that they are simply not ordering any. I am glad to hear it is still around, I think it is right there with the 210 as a top wake. The Atlanta CC dealership sold 2 210s this year, one was a promo boat.
