    G23 stock rear ballast

I was looking at adding some additional water ballast and found that wakemakers has upgrade bags for the stock location. They list port weight of 1160 and stbd at 1000 for their bags. How much does that increase total ballast from stock 2850? I didn't see a breakdown of ballast volume/weight in each compartment when I read through the manual. Thought I'd check to see if anyone had that info. Thanks

No sure what your plans are but 400s piggybacked does the trick. I have 750s and almost never fill them up. Even when adding weight in bow. We did lead bags in bow to start and now we never even load the lead. Just makes for a wetter ride and with 750s full and 500 worth of lead the wave isn't better. I'd say the engineers did a pretty good job and you don't need all that extra weight.

Thanks for the info and input. I don't think we need much additional ballast, prob just 400-500# for when we are running a small crew.
