I stumbled upon the answer to a nagging problem: raising the canopy on my Floe lift. It was really too heavy to lift by hand and would bind up, so I typically balanced a 4' high lift jack on the edge of the lift post and jack it up with a 2x4. This whole setup was obviously heavy as ****, tippy and I usually ended up hurting myself. But I saw a ratcheting cargo bar at Cabelas today (meant to be used in the bed of pickup truck) and it worked perfectly. I raised the whole canopy 6" so the tower won't hit and it took all of 5 minutes. Hope this helps someone else!
