    Recommendations on 1st boat

I am looking for recommendations on my first boat. I'm looking for a versitile boat that will be good for towing kids, but also one that is a good wake/surf/ski boat as well. My preference is a v-drive style. I'm not sure what exact model would be best suited for what I'm looking for, am open to any and all ideas! Thanks!

Depending on budget, a 210 would be your best option. I haven't ridden/driven one, but from what I've read here over the years I'm pretty confident others will go this way. If buying new, then the GS series boats will fit your needs.

Budget will most likely determine this. I loved the 210 we came out of. But from what you listed, the 200V would be great. My only complaint about it so far is the foot that it's missing. Otherwise, it's better in every way except the wakeboard wake.

Exactly, what is your budget? I also have a 200v and it does all the things you list. We love it. Properly weighted it's a good wakeboard boat. The new gs series does it all as well. Supposedly better, and much more $$$$. Personally, I have owned 5 different boats and only the first one was new. All others were used. I'm going to upgrade my fishing boat soon, and that boat will be used as well. I let someone else take the first couple years depreciation. Good luck on your search, your family will have a ball!

I'm looking more on the used side and am trying to keep my budget around $35k.

You are probably looking at a 2006 and older 210 then. Maybe sv211.

Yea in that price range and for what you're looking to do, a SV-211 is a good boat.

SV-211 is going to work well for what you need, it'll ski better than the 210 and have a walk thru in the rear.

I agree SV-211 probably your best all-rounder in that price range. A 210 would be good too if you dont plan on running the slalom course. Great wakeboard wake, good surf wave if properly ballasted and you use a suckgate.

How old are your kids? For very young kids I prefer a sun pad in rear instead of a walk thru. For teens and up I prefer the walk thru.

I would make list of needs/wants in order of priority and go from there.
