I bought my 2003 SANTE about six weeks ago. Although I'm exaggerating a little, it feels like very little thing that can go wrong has. Right down to someone stealing the wiring out of the trailer (WTF). They left all the lights, but the entire harness was gone.
Jump forward: The first time I tried to go out in the evening none of the gauges illuminated with the NAV lights. I've been reading about all the problems with the Faria Gateway and was sure mine was on it's way out. I've research replacements and swapping the GW0005 for a GW0019 and the changes needed to the wiring harness to make it work.
Yesterday when I was unplugging the wiring from the gateway I noticed that the pin holding the blue wire that triggers gauge lights was not in the correct position. The plug was inserted upside down (I can't believe they would do that). I turned over the plug and re-inserted it and everything works now. Hallelujah!
