ZR4 vs H5, which is louder?

I'm thinking of ordering a new 210 but the only one I've test driven had an H5. I thought it along with the surf pipe was much more quiet than my 2012 with the 343 in it. My dealer mentioned the ZR4 is louder than the H5. Anyone with experience?

Direct injection engine will be quieter than the other. I did not measure, but I did ride a 2015 G21, 2016 G21 and a 2017 G21 and yes the H5 on the 2016 and 2017 are way quieter than the 2015. Now everyone has different sensibility to noise, so I cannot speak for you.

I have the H5 in my 200 and it is the quietest DD inboard I have ever driven, by a long shot. I can't see it being any louder in a V-drive.

I don't think my ZR4 is very quiet. Even with the surf pipe the ZR4 seems pretty much just as loud as the ZR450 without a surf pipe in my old boat.
