Let's give them a chance. They have never asked for information like this from their customers before, as far as I know. Let's see what they do with it. Remember, they have a new VP of marketing, a new president coming in, and a new factory. The time is right for change at CC, and I think it is a positive thing that they're asking us what we think.

Jeff-I responded, my guess is no-nautique contrary to his earlier post doesn't own a nautique and has an agenda against.

I've done my bit, hope it gets listened to. As a die-hard 210 man it pains me to say that BU and in particular MC are building great looking boats. That new X2 is something else. Quite simply if they had CC's build quality it would be game over. If someone such as a young family or a young and upcoming rider were looking at boats without in depth knowledge they would not choose CC. In my opinion CC needs to do something to get in touch with the younger generation and in particular 'the customers of tomorrow'. When I am at my small and local ski club I know my 210 is king, but everyone looks at the X2. Wish they could sort that one !!! Pride is a big thing for a lot of people, this is reflected in their lifestyle purchases and choices.

I would like to see some themed boats like a Byerly 210 (all black, chrome and tattoos), maybe a Mapple 196 (sleek and classy) and they could work wonders with Murray and Froggy (Mr. Soven). Wakeboards have great designs year upon year and most folks buy them because of the signature ie. Parks, Murray, Byerly etc etc. Why not bring this into the boat scene ?

PS : The camo 210 was a good attempt. They could do more with the removable vinyl idea...

Thats pretty harsh statement nonautique, espically comming from someone who has only one post. Im extremely happy with CC and have had nothing be good expereinces with them. This was my first CC but not my last.

I love my nautique 210, but I''m slowly growing out of it. Am I going to switch to the wierd boat w/ a garbage can or the bigger 226. I'm not sure. I understand the quality differences, but my choice's w/ nautique are limited. Lack of innovation in their camp really bugs. Make a bigger 210, oh and don't charge me an extra 20k for the extra 24".

I think it's time for CC to wake up and realize their boats aren't that unique anymore. There are so many good boats out there at but a fraction of the cost.

Did you get any sort of contact directly from someone at CC recently regarding this, that is someone calling you or emailing you, asking if you would post somthing on your site to get the real nautique die-hards to voice their opinion? OR...

Were you surfing around CC's site, saw this, and decide to post it here assuming CC is out there awaiting our responces...

I filled it out, but these were some pretty softball type questions.

A little too open-ended in my mind for meaningful data collection.

I did state that there were some quality control concerns at their factory (as noted in earlier posts), and I also stated that whoever put together the survey didn't leave me enough room to type in my email address.

They really don't want your address or input, just calms the natives if they think CC cares.
