If you are truly interested call Erik at the Boat House Chicago, he will likely have the scoop on that boat as he probably sold it and also lives on the same River. Been listed for over a month so if not sold something is probably not right??

I know the owner of this boat personally, been in it , and can vouch for it being an OCD maintained boat. The owner is a solid guy who's been in the wakeboard and wakesurf scene for over 20yrs. He's looking to make a deal as evident by the price. Can assure anyone it's a turn key showroom boat that has zero issues. He just upgrades a lot and with the changes for 18 he wants an 18.

Probably hasn't sold because all the waterways in area are closed because of the flooding. Nobody is thinking new boat at the moment around here seeing as the waterways are expected to be closed for another 2 weeks (total time over a month)
He was a member on the site for while. . If anyone wants any further info on it hit me and I'll put you in touch with him

Why the owner does not want to wait to make flip as others suggested and make money on it??
Something is strange that he did not find a buyer yet with such a willingness to make a deal.

I am not looking for a boat, my year old boat is still running fine . I have just hard time getting this story without the boat having issue. Something does not add up. Wakeboats are hot sells nowadays, factories are increasing capacity and price every year. So, how come this seller was not able to find a buyer yet with such a willingness to make a deal.

It's a tough market at the moment by us and quite frankly with the G series boats the 230 is a harder sell. He's had MC's prior to swapping to a 2012/2013/2014 Nautique 210, 2016 Nautique G21, and now 2017 Nautique 230. The G23 is to big for the river , so why he's sticking with 230. He gets "bro pricing" on boats and passes it on to the people he sells it to. No scams or shadyness involved , just a guy passing along deals who's been doing it this way for A long long time.

He also also runs the best fiberglass repair shop in the area that the dealers contract through. Drove most of the comps in the area over the years He's as legit as it gets.

Ah, swatguy just answered my question. His asking price didn't seem crazy, as long as he got a good deal when he bought it...to me anyway.

I better get in touch with him and help him pick his next colors so I can buy it off him when he sells that next one. Lol
