    GS24 - Feedback / Opinions

Anyone see or test drive the GS24? I’ve only the seen the Nautique YouTube videos at this point however Buxton was expecting one to be delivered sometime in the coming days. I was curious of their thoughts if they had seen one in person.

Funny, I logged on today to post the exact same thing. The more I look at the GS24 the more I think it will be my next boat and the boat that leads me to jump from Malibu! Love to hear the reviews as they start coming on in!

We test road a GS24 & G23 today. The GS24 will need additional ballast to surf behind based on my experience. When we test drove / surfed, we only had 3 people in the boat using factory ballast. They plan to add some fat sacs to the boat over the weekend to see how much that will help. The overall appearance and perfomance was great. I hope the addtional balast will help add more push to the surf wake. Now for the G23.... Out of the box, the surf wake was amazing to say the least. I see why so many individuals want a G23 however this requires additional coin. Hopefully next week we can go for another GS24 test ride once the additional balast has been added.

That's the way that I felt with the GS22 when I first took it out. We found that running the front ballast only half way full and 800 pounds on lead in the rear turned that boat into a totally different surfing monster. I wonder if the same will be said for the GS24?

As mentioned before, Dockside won't be getting any GS24 in until the end of the month, but I'm super excited to try them out!

Buxton was going to reach out to Nautique to see what ballast set up they were running in the GS24 promo videos. We knew it had additional ballast, just not sure how much.

Has anyone else had a chance to take out a GS24? As of last weekend, Buxton still had four in stock. They did add some additional ballast to one boat, however I have not been back to go for another test ride to see how the surfwake performs.

On a side note, I did have the pleasure riding with Danny Harf this past Friday. Can't say enough positive things about him as he worked with my daughter teaching her how to get more pop in the wake while surfing and giving pointers so she can land a 360. Then when it was his time to surf & wakeboard, we wanted another 30 mins of show time. Man, he takes it to another level. Amazing to see in person, let alone being in the same boat. Great job Nautique with the Proving Grounds tour.

I should be getting to spend a weekend in a GS24 on Sept 22-24. I realize this does you no good right now but I'll be more than happy to help after that time.
