Rumor is 1100s fit pretty good in rear lockers.. Buxton has one inside and it looks solid. The engine hatch and locker hatches are pretty sweet. It's got a ton of room and I like how it's going to set low in the water.

Wow. That's disappointing that you have to add that much weight. What's the point of sub floor ballast if you just have to fill the storage up.

I took out a GS22 for a demo then ended up meeting a guy who just bought the 22 who took us out for 2hrs. Very impressive boat. It drives unreal, I drove and surfed a 2017 MC X23 Surf Edition too...the GS 22 surfed better, drove better, didn't have its nose pointing straight up. My nephew who has surfed behind the G23 like the 22 as much as the 23. We had the ballast loaded and 8 adults. I have also surfed behind a 2017 Supra SG and it has a great wake too, better than the MC and comparable to the 22, but the boat is no Nautique in quality and design. The GS drives like smaller boat but is all grown up. I love the tech, the design and function of the boat. I honestly don't know why someone would pay all the extra for the G. I am not taking anything away from the G just don't get why one would need the G unless your are competing.

Got to sit in and check one out thoroughly at the dealer yesterday. It is REALLY similar to my 230 in size and feel. The tower seams super skinny compared to everything else out there though. I really don't see how a 230 owner would ever rationalize getting one unless they have money burning a hole in their pocket and wanting to have the latest thing.

I'm not familiar with the tech, the bottom setting on the screen was at 5 the top one was at 3, ballast was full, 11.2 MPH

Caught one across the lake from us this weekend, pretty sure it was a 24. From a distance wave looked ok. On plane it's supper flat, like no bow rise at all! Looks good in water too. Looking back I should have went over and checked it out but water was awesome!! We ran a full tank of fuel!! I love it when kids go back to school!!

Not sure about that, I surf a 2017 g23 and a 2013 210 , the gs22 with stock ballast was not even close to a g23' did the person with the gs22 have more than stock ballast? The wakeboard wake was pretty small too. I guess if you add extra weight maybe it gets better.

you surfed behind a GS22? the boat was stock. The surf wake was as big as the 2017 MC X23 Surf Edition and the Supra SG, both boats had their ballast full. We had 11 people in the MC and 6 in Supra. The GS wake was excellent in size, shape and as mentioned in the same league as those boats, in fact I like the GS wake better than the MC wake. I can't comment on a G as I haven't personally been in one. Im going off my nephews experience in the G which he has been in several times. The wake should be bigger in the G with its additional ballast and weight. You can buy a GS22 for 150K and a similar G23 is 200K, not sure I see 50K value add.

Gosh, I hope so. Or is he one of those that say Nautiques hold their value?

After trying to decide if we wanted the newly designed GS24 or the well-proven G23, we decided to go with the G23. It was the out of the box capabilities that sold the family on the G23 however I feel the GS24 is still a great boat, especially when you add the addtional ballast based on feedback from a couple of the Buxton employees.
