The wife and I are always cruising our lake for a lake house for sale that we can swing, so last night we found one on line but there was no sign on the dock. We were close to the docks looking for the house on line and I notice a old Correct Craft hanging in a dock. Well shortly after a guy walks down to the old boat and we start talking. Super cool guy that had lived there since early 80s and bought the old boat at the around the same time. The old boat was a 66 Wildcat and was super cool. I couldn't believe he had it that long and that he paid 1500.00 bucks for it back then. After some small talk I asked him if he minded if I took a few pics and he replies with I was going to ask you if youd help me check my speedo. Anyway we exchanged numbers and took some pics of each others boats on the lake.

Lake People are great!
Last week my new G23 snapped a shaft and dropped the prop. After getting a tow to the closest dock and while waiting for a tow to my dock a couple walked by and we were talking about the G and after explaining what had just happened, they said they kept their boat on the lake as well and were heading home that afternoon and offered me their Supra to use for the remainder on my family's trip..... Never met them before and here they were offering me their boat for a few days so my family could enjoy our vacation.... no charge.
I was still reeling about the issue with the G and didn't take them up on the offer but thought wow, what a genuinely awesome offer! Lake people are great!
Didn't even get your name but thank you to the super nice couple on Norris lake!
