This was on a 2016 with full factory, 400lbs of lead in the bow, 600lbs in port locker, 400lbs in starboard locker, NSS 0, NCRS 5, and 11.8

Probably the best wave I've ever been on to date.

Here is our 2016 G23 Wake. One thing that I have learned is that more weight is not always better. The stock G23 wake can be pretty steep. While this is great for most beginners and intermediate riders, once you add snap turns and rotation into your surfing (360s, Air 180s, Air 360s, Shuvs, etc) the steepness works against you. It is VERY difficult to land a spin trick on a steep wave. You see our wave pictured is not that steep, yet it is still possible to get big airs. We run 150lb in the goofy side rear locker, 200 in the rear regular side rear locker, 150 under the goofy side middle seats, 200lbs under the regular side seats, and 200lbs (100lbs on each side of the bow seats). We also run NCRS at 3 and NSS at 0 and surf at 11.5 mph. This gives a great wave for airs that is not too steep to do 360s and land spin tricks on. Also we usually surf with three people in the boat. When we have more people I have to adjust the ballast to reduce the weight in the left and right tanks. Because with my 900lbs of lead plus four or five+ adults in the rear of the boat the weight will cause the NSS to sink too low. This causes the wave to be too steep or worse wash out...more weight is not always good. Good luck!

OxDoc Where do you put the 400 lbs? I am toying w that now and have moved most of my lead (~300 lbs) to the front.

I put 200lbs in front of the observer seat and then I put 100lbs in each front storage locker all the way to the front of the compartment.
