Yay or Nay? M Series Studio Elite on 2018 G23

Looking to get thoughts from the community here. I'm putting together a build sheet for a 2018 G23, and am wondering if the market of potential buyers would want to pay an extra $3500k for the upgraded M Series Studio Elite package?

Personally, I wouldn't miss it, but seeing as I try to swap into a new one fairly regularly, I'm wondering if buyers would see this as a deal breaker? Or maybe they would prefer to see a slightly used G23 without it, and save $3500?

    Thoughts????

I have bought and sold 7 boats in the last 7 years, never once was the stereo a deal breaker. I am of the belief that as long as it has a functioning solid sounding audio system they will never blink.

I know when I was looking it was one of my check marks and probably would of kept looking unless it was a steal of a deal.

Skip it and put that $ towards the standard bimini and color matched trailer. Your '15 is sweet and those are the only 2 items it's lacking.

I have only bought used. Given the reputation Nautique has in my mind for stereos, I wouldn't see the upgraded stereo as a selling point. Now if it was an aftermarket stereo with good components then that's a different story.

Zone control is now stock in 2018 (although studio elite apparently has additional zone control). Wavefront is cool, but I wouldn't think make or break on a used boat buyer. Two 12" subs vs one 10" sub is maybe where you'll see the biggest difference for used boat buyers. The storage compartment looks super clean with the seadeck around the sub. I'm not sure what options people have if they want to upgrade their bass. I don't think 3500k is worth it if you don't care about bass as much, but if you do,... I think it's totally worth it.

BTW I ordered mine with the studio elite.

It's not worth it IMO. I don't have it on my boat, but I've seen and heard it on several others. But then again, I actually use my boat to wakeboard...not just pull up to the beach and party.

We have a 2016 with the Studio Elite.

I would not buy a Nautique without it. It sounds great and you get a factory install and warranty. I passed on a boat that was a great deal, but had an aftermarket system in it. While there might be some issues (hopefully resolved with the '18 JL head unit) Nautique stands behind it and you have support.

I would get it. One of the only boats, in fact I think the only boat besides Pavati that offers the 2-12" sub configuration. I have never experienced it yet but it has to sound incredible. I plan on getting the option. And maybe all the issues they had on the 2017 and older will be fixed in 2018 with the new head units and whatever else.

It's a proven fact that Nautique+stereo=disappointment. When I order my next boat (after Nautique gets their house in order) it will be sans stereo. You can do SO MUCH better with an after market stereo for pennies on the dollar compared to stock. Who wants to have to go through two menus just to turn it up or down??? There's not even a separate volume knob! Screw that.

Yeah I had to install 2 separate volume knobs to deal with the problem you stated above. Easy fix but still a pain which I should have not had to go through on a new boat purchase.

**** I didn't know this. It would be annoying to have to go through different menus to turn down the volume. What about the aftermarket opinion though, can you really do much better for the $3500? I don't know I am seriously asking. And it looks so clean and neat do you think that the aftermarket would look that nice?
