    GS20 Surf Wave

    What advise about adding weight?

Thinking 2 400lb sacks in back and 300 up front (maybe lead) upfront

Should i be doing more less? We usually have anywhere from 6 to 8 in boat when out.

I did experience last weekend, all stock ballast full if all people in rear of boat, boat wont get above 10mph, put 3 people up front and things corrected

Hoping to get longer , deeper wave

I have not found that adding weight changes things much. At one point we had full weight and 12 people in boat. Did not feel wake was much different then 7-8 people. Bow weight seems very important or wake gets very tall and short with limited push. A 20ft boat can only get so long and so deep. With 6-8 people we have good luck with 70-80 on off side, 80-100 in belly and 100 on surf side. 5 on ncrs and 0-2 on NSS. When you are loaded make sure the auto ncrs is set on high or its tough to get on plane. Hope this helps.

10.5-11.2 on regular side. Usually around 10.8. A little faster on goofy side 10.8-11.2. Mostly it's individual preference.

Surfed a GS20 and GS22 . The surf wave is different than the 210 or G. It's not as tall but has great push . It has a line in it that's allegedly for tricks . I had no issues surfing it no rope and doing a few jumps . Not sure weight gonna help much . We had 4 in the boat positioned equally

          10.4 mph was speed

My favorite settings for my GS20 includes adding a 750lb sac to the surf side rear locker and all the factory at 100%. 11.2mph (NCRS 5/NSS 0). If I don't run the sac then I run the belly at 50% and 11.0mph. I'm 6'3" 185lbs, ride a 4'4" Dart, and I find I need the good push that these two settings provide. I'm thinking of getting a slightly longer board so I don't have to mess with filling a sac as I have family that surfs opposite side so I have to drain the 600lb factory tank on the sac side to get it setup for the opposite side surfer.

The GS is sensitive to where you have everyone sitting. My rpm can get as high 3700 if no one is in the bow with that extra sac so do some controlled experimentation. Typically with the sac and a few kids in the bow I'm at 3400 so also thinking of getting an ACME 1235 to drop my rpms.

            Love this boat BTW!

Gents...good to see there are some out there with my same boat. Do you guys know if adding sacs and having them plumbed into your system will void the warranty?
