What is the wattage and current draw on them? Trying to figure out if I can piggyback them off of something else.
A 6' length of our Top-Side Lights draws bout 6amps and puts out roughly 7,000 lumens, fully dimmable via a wireless remote control that comes with the lights. It adheres to the boat with a double-sided adhesive strip. Similar to what auto manufacturers use to attach body panels, hood emblems, etc.
But they do require a wired power source. One end of the light needs about a 1/4" hole to pass the wire through into the boat. The entire area around the 1/4" hole is sealed by the adhesive strip, and it is above the water-line, so there really is no risk to the integrity of your hull.
Top-Side Lights are a 12V product and draw power directly from your accessory battery or preferably the protected side of your battery disconnects.
Our Underwater Light Install Kit has a 12V pass through connection point that Top-Side Lights can be wired into as part of your system, should you choose to go with both Underwater Lights and Top-Side Lights.
Hope that helps!

Thejean, that's the only wire that needs to get into the boat. Everything else is just adhered to the gelcoat. As you can see it's not a large hole and is minimally invasive. If you need a referral from a Nautique dealer that has installed several of these so that you don't have to take my word for it, contact Marine United in St. George, Utah. They should be able to put your worries to rest.

Would mounting a led light bar on the transom be too bright? Looking at cheaper ones on amazon.

If aimed down it would probably be fine. Not sure it would look right though.

I came up with the idea on mounting it in the surf locker hinged door. So when you need the light open it up and when you aren’t using it it’s put away.

That sounds like a great idea actually!

For my setup I have a pair of Lumitec Seablaze underwater lights and a pair of dual led direct plugged with pre-wired in my tower.
i do not have photos but it’s the exact same setup as Jeff. (only difference is 2 facing forward, 2 facing backward and not 4 facing back).
I love this setup, perfect for my needs and plenty enough.
Not too bright to get the surfer blinded, it’s pretty important.
