2018 Tower G23

Just got back from looking at the G23 Tower. I had a concern that the tower was going to make the boat look a little off balance. When the racks and top mounted, tower looks great.

I am 6' 1" and could finally fit underneath the bimini top and speakers. This boat had 8.8" tower speakers, but just one pair. I also noticed the tower had s little "texture" in the powder coating, was definitely different. Don't know if it was better or worse, just different.

Really liked the two new lighted Nautique badging.

I think the new tower give the boat even more presence, makes it stand out even more somehow. It looks great.

Maybe it was the Anthracite tower? It has texture like rhino lining to it. I hope a smooth tower is still an option.

No pics, I am horrible about taking pictures. I would describe is a very light texturing. I would be indifferent as to which finish was on mine. It is very subtle.

The new texture is supposed to be much easier to clean.

I ordered a 2010 San 230 coastal and on coastal it had the tower texture, it was def easier to clean. On my new G25 I ordered the tower textured, nice to see it standard.

I ordered a black tower on my 2018 G23. Will it be smooth paint or textured I wonder? Anyone have one that can comment?

My 2017 Coastal Edition G23 is textured but may be standard now on all models for 2018s. Also to note my windsheild frame is textured

That was one of the changes for 2018 in that all towers will have a textured paint.

Just curious wonder if the windshield frames will be textured on all 2018 models like the windshield frame on my 2017 G23 Coastal Edition?

Textured tower vs smooth gloss. I know a few of you have run through several years and models of boats. Do you have a preference if you had the ability to choose between painted gloss or a textured tower? Thanks in advance for your input.
