With 4 people in the boat it's perfect with stock.

Me too I aired with the stock ballast and do my 360's
but im used to my older wave wich is a 2016 Tige Z1 haha..
but now with my problem solved 100% sure the 210 gonna produce a better wave than my last.
Yes just my wife and I most of the time. Also try to make sure you water depth is good. I've found that deeper water makes a better wave .

Its easy to OVER weight the rear on the 210s (Just like the tige z1!), adding bow ballast will usually solve this and help create the best wave possible, OR just use less weight like the 400lbs instead of 750. Me personally would add a V sac under those front seats piggybacked off the center hard tank........

I am late to party but about a week ago I helped set up a friends 14' 230 which I assume is similar concept to the 210 since I have not been on a 210. My first thot reading thru this was to fill both rear sacks at 750 cause I have seen uneven ballast make the wave washy. All ballast full....going too fast with this boat does not work out so well at like 11.8+ and needed to slow it down to get the "perfect wave". With all ballast full, 10.6-10.8 was putting out a very nice wave. I know you already figured this out, so mostly just confirming. Full vert made quite a difference on height of wave and adding bow weight made it longer. Very nice boat and wave....now helping someone get a 2012 set up using a Nauticurl suck gate....with suck gate, usually works a little better adding a little list to boat, but we will see since they are all different.

Our setup is 10.8, NSS 2, gate full forward. Rear ballast full front ballast 7/8 (with factory pro ballast option). Then I take just a bit out of the stbd ballast (about 200lb). It makes a great wave with lots of push.

If it is mostly just you and your wife in the boat, save the 400 pound bag when you upgrade to the 750’s. Put the 400 on the floor up against the seat base on the surf side and fill it with a Tsunami pump. It is like adding a couple of extra friends in the boat.

I don’t know why this thread pops up cause it was made last August, barely a year ago!

but here’s the setup I found perfect for both my gf and me.

              First of all, ballast.
i replaced both rear 400 sac for 750
added a bow underseat sac (but it fills approx 250-300lbs Max, after that cushions pups up)
added a 370lbs side bag under port side seat.
this summer they are all piggybank with the automated system. I’ve done it few weeks ago with check valve on each.
So when we are many I can just close it and run with oem ballast.

              next, setup.
gf doing skim and surfstyle for me so not exactly the same setup

              skim :
Close the valve for the side bag. So running with both rear full, belly full with the bow sac too.

Speed 10,4. NSS at 1. Hydrogate full vert, sometimes just a touch up when it’s a lot windy.
the wave is pretty giant in height, the additional bow bag makes it fairly long too.
great lip, not a tons of push. Perfect skim for us.

Nss works better when the boat is listed equal.

              surfstyle :

              all ballast full.
speed 10,8. NSS 3-4 depends on the wind and water, Hydro mostly in the middle depends on the wind too.
              surfstyle Wake is more peeky.
It’s make a very long wave with a tons of push, especially when NSS at 4 but this is just when water is mirror flat lol.
height is ok, but I really prefer length and steeper for surfstyle.
when I want more height push hydrogate full vert, makes it a bit washy at the lip but fairly more height.

like infinity said hydrogate makes a good difference on height and length.

This is our setup when we are JUST my gf and me, at the minute some people are in the boat I close the additional bags where people are seating.
People weight replace the bag. 2 person in the bow with the bow sac full makes the nose too deep messed up the wave and always splash water inside when we go pickup a fallen rider.
Same when 2 people are seating port side, with the underseat sac it makes too much weight on the side and NSS really works like sh*t lol.
