Central Texas is the most flash flood prone area in the entire world. Texas has no (real) natural lake except for Lake Caddo which was created by a log jam. Anyways, the Guadalupe, San Marcos, and Colordado river sheds get hit big storms that drain thousands of square miles. Most all our lakes are in former river beds, dammed down stream. Canyon Lake, upstream of this, once flew around the dam. This boat was liking sitting in the water moored poorly or its hoist lowered. you can see a ton of debris in the water.

20 inches of rain predicted for this weekend. Everyone better get their boats moved now or there are going to be more videos like this soon!
