I moved from a mal to a 210, my wife wasn't hot on the idea cause of the size of the boat, but we both loved the wake. On the other hand my kids hated the wake, but after 1 month they love it. They ride the 210 unballasted with 3 adults and 1 child on board and they went on an 05VLX with only 2 adults and 1 child but ballast was full in order to do the same tricks. Give it time once you can handle the 210 everything else (with the same amount of ballast) is too soft.

      210 taming wake

The 210 has a kickaxx wake no doubt. My son is 20 yrs old and he took about 1 month to get used to the kick with full ballast on our SAN.

My wife and I slalom ski. If you ski above 32 mph the wake tames down quite a bit and just a bit of weight in the bow makes the wake settle to pretty smooth.

when wakeboarding, weighting the bow with people or lead will round off the wake.

The 210 is a kicker steep wake but you can tame it if you play with the weight.

        RE: 210 taming wake

I will add that I have skied 34mph/28off behind BKH's 210, didn't find the wake objectional at all.

The wake does flatten off nicely at 34mph, but it seems darn hard when you cross it IMO...

I agree with wake-sk8, it does feel like a hard speed hump, i will ride on an extra length or two (depending on amount of peeps on the boat) where the water is a bit softer.
