    2013 210 Must Have Options

I am considering a new to me 2013 210 purchase. I surf a little but mainly wakeboard, foot and slalom. The boat is all gauges - no team package. What are the must have options for this boat? What about the engine size?

I would never buy a 2013 without LINC as you won't be able to have or add NSS. You say you surf a little, but it seems to always increase in priority the more people do it. Also on that year 2013 there is not a dedicated row spot for footing or skiing, which stinks. We pull from the lift ring. We have the 343 in ours and only once have we had problems and that was with 7 guys and 3200 pounds of water weight trying to get to Wake board speeds.

I understand your point on surfing and I am not the only person on the boat. I just hate all the electronics to a brain and as a typical long term holder, that is the reason for a 2013 or later without the Linc. I have heard that NSS can be added with an separate control switch.

Would you say the 343 is under-powered for this boat. Can it pull barefoot speeds up to 40?

I was told by a dealer that a rear pop-up pylon can be added.

Srock you are correct NSS can be added to 07 and up 210's and I have it installed on my 09 currently. I've attached a link to a great write up and install thread for you to check out, yes you will need to add a switch but its really nice. the 343 is not underpowered for this boat a lot of people change the prop for more torque. I too searched for a 210 without linc for same concerns as you and I love this boat! they are amazing, well thought out and the wake is spectacular and throws a really nice surf wave when dialed in properly. test drive and you'll see.

The 343 isn't underpowered. But, top end with stock prop is right at 40. My 2013 210 has a pop up tow point in the middle, behind the engine. We added NSS and some extra ballast this off season and we can create a pretty sweet surf wave on either side with just a couple of people in the boat. The wake also flattens out pretty well at slalom speeds. It certainly isn't a competition slalom wake, but still pretty good for a wake boat. I agree with ScooterMcgavin, it's a great boat.

Did you add the pop up tow point? Or are you considering the lift ring the pop up tow point? I haven't been able to find anything about adding this and my dealer, huge and experienced dealer, said they can't do it.

Oh, and we love ours so much we are in the process of designing a 2018 210.

I was heard the parts from Correct Craft were 800 plus and couple hundred for the dealer to install. Not confirmed.

We did not add the "pop up tow point". It was there, installed from the factory. T looks like this one (the circle in the sea deck right under the stereo remote). It may also be a lift ring, but it works great as a tow point for skiing and tubing. If pulling a Tube though, you may want to look into a floating ball in the middle of the rope to keep the rope out of the rooster tail.

you can easily add factory NSS without LINC . I did it to my 08 and so have several others. You just need to buy an extra switch. Piece of cake.

The the one thing I will caution you about is the 13 doesn't have a ski pylon. Pretty much the worst elimination of a necessity ever. I wouldn't buy a 210 without the ZR6 or the equivalent depending on how new you go for your specific situation. Especially slaloming and footing. You need that top end from the bigger engine

It seems like when you look for a boat without the linc, which is rare, it becomes even harder to find the larger engine option.

I think I know the boat you are looking at. I'm somewhat familiar with it (wink). Great buy for what it is. A slalom and barefoot boat it is not.

For surf I would probably go the GSA route vs NSS.
