I think jesam is trying to be honest here, but don't discount the 210 for slalom and barefoot. I just got one this spring, slalom all the time behind it. Not competition quality, but not bad. I know plenty of people and some on this forum who have barefooted behind them as well. For what it's worth, the 210 is Nautique's best, current barefooting boat.

Perhaps with the larger engine option....or I could loose some weight

I used to ski and a neighbor used to ski behind my 210 all the time and it is good, especially if you add weight in the bow...

However, I would think that one of the ski nautiques would be a better boat for bare footing, wouldn't it? So not sure I understand the above quote.
