2018 G23 Color Options

I am buying a new 2018 G23 and I am struggling with the color options. I really like the new red interior. Do you think that the interior deck in red as well as the primary interior and main stripe in red would look weird if the exterior is full black (including accent) with metal flakes? And what about the non-skid portion? I like the mocha color but titanium might a better choice with the black/red color combo. Your thoughts?

If you want red seats, Buxton did one for a customer that was all Tungsten grey, interior and complete exterior, with corvette red seats and platform with grey Sea Deck and it looked awesome.

Def grey on the seadek. I would avoid the red deck AND red interior. Maybe play around with some other deck colors? Grey maybe? I do hate how black isn't an interior deck option...bc that would look great with the red interior. Then again, a red deck might not be bad against all the black. Hard to tell as the online boat builder doesn't always depict the best real world image!

It depends on your definition of too much. I love red, but not for my boat interior. If you like it, then that is all you need to know.

But even the boat pictured above is going to be a tough resale. I am not sure I would take it if it were given to me 1/2 price. There may be the right buyer that will jump on it, but I think the guy eliminated at least 85% of the market with those color choices. If resale is an issue, you are out in left field as far as colors go. If you are just fine tuning your personal preference, then I am sure you could mock one up you like on the Nautique build a boat page.

Yeah I wasn't saying grey would look good as the interior deck, just that it might. But probably wouldn't do that if the entire exterior was black. I do think the red deck with red vinyl would be too much, just personal opinion. But if it's what you like then go for it. I personally like boats that are different. I LOVE the grey and red boat pictured above! But then again, I don't buy a boat just to turn around and trade up to a new one every single year (or every other year). I built my boat to my liking and not for the next guy, and plan on keeping it at least the entire length of the factory 5 year warranty...maybe longer! I rarely buy something with that dreaded word "RESALE" in mind! Except for maybe a house! lol
