Questions for the guys who have placed 750# fatsacs in a 210/230 locker.

The 750# bags have 4 ports. Two on each end, and two on top.

The end furthest to the rear is used for the drain. That's easy, but where are you connecting the fill hose? On the top port closest to the front? Or the end closest to the front?

If you are using the top port (which makes the most sense to me), are you adding an elbow connection to the hose to minimize the tension?

Did you shorten the hose, so there isn't so much coiling of the hose?

If you use the end port, is there difficulty filling the bag fighting the weight of the water that has already loaded the bag?

Any bits of wisdom would be appreciated.

I've been running these for a few weeks now, but I want to make sure that I'm doing this the right way. It's always possible to make things easier on yourself.

It fills and drains through the same line if I'm not mistakes and the other two are just bent lines. There is nothing hooked to the other end of the bag.

Basically everything you need to know in this thread.....back hose is fill AND drain (reversible pump is already plumbed in stock on pro-ballast upgrade from factory)....front hose is just vent/overflow....

That is what i was going to say....I have reversible pumps and the fill/drain is the fittings that is closest to rear at bottom (that way it also helps to gravity drain and ensures you can get all water out)....in picture above, you can just see the 3rd fitting at back bottom. The top fitting(s) is for your vent, I used the front top for the drain. This also helps you not have passive drain issues while surfing and you can burp easier if you have too
