scottb7, I had visions of "Gone in 60 seconds," but, couldn't channel my Nicholas Cage to pull it off...

They have been seen around Winnipeg area so my guess is that they are headed to Northern Ontario, lake country possibly and will never be registered. The buyers were probably already sorted out before the boats went.

I export cars all the time. You have to produce a title to export. Something fishy here

Yes but as soon as they get to Ontario , it bacomes OPP, Quebec QPP , none of them communicate that much, not like it is a missing child. I don't think the Rcmp is going to call northern Ontario OPP unless there is a Tip saying they are headed that way.

They could easily stay in Ontario for many years to come. Throw a wrap on it for a few years and they’re good to go.
In Canada they aren’t nearly as picky about registration numbers or anything.

Wizard posted a video of the boats leaving. Only showed 3 of them....all with the boat covers on being pulled by Late model Ford Crew Cab short bed 4x4s. They were haulin' butt when they took the turn onto the highway. Did not see the fourth boat in the video....

Does anybody know if they were new boats? After the sept long, people will drop their boats off at night outside of the gates for the guys to bring in for winterizing when they open Tuesday morning. That service road is always full of boats. I would be too scared to leave mine on an unsecured service road...insurance or not.
