Has anyone put a swim step ladder on their boat? I saw one on a Nautique and wonder who makes it or if there are better ones than others?

We have the one Jeff mentioned (although it came installed from the factory). It comes in handy for kids or adults when the boat isn't ballasted.Comment

We are about to place an order for new g23. We have never had a swim step on our Malibu’s due to they seem to effect wake surf wave. Is this true also on the G23?Comment

I have some people that need a little extra help getting in the boat and it does help. installed at factory. I am back to making sure the **** thing is put back up before we take off though.

It doesn't affect the surf wave, but will if it's left "down" as fairlydangerous1 alluded to. For some reason I'm the only one who knows how to put it back properly (lift and push). :-)Comment

Nice ladder....BUT.....as mentioned above .....it is VERY hard for a first timer to put it up in the lock position. You can tell them ten times from the cockpit how to do it...but they won't get it until you physically get down there and show them the lift/push. Once they do it once .....they're gold....lolComment

Have one. Love it for kids and older folks. It's nice, and even if you accidentally leave it down, it just flaps around back there won't hurt it or anything else. I am the only person in my crew that knows how to stow it haha.
