Had a chance to demo/ride behind a 2018 G23 on Sunday and thought I'd post up some comments/pics. First, the dock assist works really well. Not sure I'd pay the $10k to add if I was ordering, but it really works well both in Auto mode or manual (there is an Auto High and Auto Low setting that "just works" with steering and a manual where you touch the screen on either side or rotate "mouse" to move back end either direction). This boat was fairly loaded up! The new JL head unit is super user friendly and the factory sound was the best factory sounds I've heard on any boat ever (it was the top package with dual subs, 4 JL 7.7's on the tower, wavefront, etc). The new over-moulded board racks work really well (even though I'm still getting used to the "look" of them) and hold boards nice and snug. This boat was ordered with one of the new seating surface colors (red) and it didn't seem any hotter than white to me. The exterior of the boat is all white with white chromax and domed numbers over the chromax in red. Also the JL Tower speakers were custom painted red (on the cans) to match). Really sharp looking boat. A few other minor tweaks, but the ride/wave is unchanged. My son and I each rode a set wake boarding (full factory ballast, 75', 23.2MPH) and the guy from the dealership surfed a set too. As usual, the wake/wave did not disappoint!
