Gang,
I have an update here for 2018 SAN 210 and 230s. One of our members here tested the Pebble Classic with a 2018 SANTE 230 equipped with Surf Select.
Starting in 2018, the Hydrogate on the 2x0 is on an electric actuator instead of a manual lever. It's now controlled via the LINC. If a Pebble Classic is paired with the LINC, it "sees" the Hydrogate as a NCRS. Yes, I know that technically it is NOT an NCRS and if we still had developers working on the Pebble App they'd change it. Given what we have, this is just fine.
So, if you have a 2018 2x0 with Surf Select and the Pebble Classic, you can adjust the Hydrogate using the watch in addition to the other controls that were already present.
Cheers!

They really need apple watch integration or something. I really like Malibu's surf strap... can change the wedge, volume, surf side, and the speed of the boat with ease.

problem with the Malibu surf band, is that it is EXTREMELY unreliable on commands. Even after many modifications to the system, they still don’t work reliably.

The Apple watch is a no-go. They tried it and with wet fingers it just didn't work reliably. Nautique went with the Pebble because of the hard buttons. Pebble watches are easy to find on eBay. They work fine and I'm good with them until Nautique comes up with whatever (Garmin) to replace it.

WARNING!
Do NOT charge a Pebble watch with a high-amp charger!
Gang,
I found this out the hard way this weekend. DO NOT USE A HIGH-AMP CHARGER! Like the one that comes with an iPad. After burning up TWO watches, stupid me finally figured out it was the high-amp charger I'd started using on the dock to make everything charge faster.
Do not do this. Use a 2 amp charger only.

Update on this:
I apologize. I correlated an event with an outcome that was not in fact, causality. I charged a couple of Pebbles with a big charger and they both malfunctioned, but it wasn't due to the charger. It was due to me forgetting that the Pebble couldn't be paired to the LINC and the iPhone at the same time.Last edited by charlesml3; 06-06-2018, 08:35 AM.
