You sure on the size? I was told a couple times the only difference is the space aft of the tower. My uncles 21 literally has 2 less spots just inside the main cabin. Bow rating is the same.
    Measured wrong. Sizes corrected above.

My local dealer has a 2016 G21 brand new. Bet you could get a deal on that one.

Ron told me he sold 70 G23's last year and 20 G21's. He had to use a customer boat to test today because he can't keep the 21's in stock. I'm not sure if Nautique limits 21 numbers or not.

A deal killer for me might be the fact that they dropped the tower on the 230 about 6 inches and I smacked my head two or three times today just walking around the boat. That was one of the main reasons we got rid of our wakesetter.

I also have a 1 ton truck so I have plenty of tow vehicle.

It went very well. The G21 is definitely enough boat for us. Surf wave was awesome. I surfed off the platform for the very first time.

But I do agree. The 23 beckons...

I think I have gotten over the price difference but two key factors are the G21 fit in the garage and the tower height on the 2017 G23 is 5-5"... hello concussions.

That comment right there leads me to believe you WANT the G23, I say that meaning you don't NEED the G23, lets face it probably 99% of people who own G23's don't NEED them. However a friend once told me "Buy what you want because its more justifiable" I thought it was stupid back then but now I live by a very similar modo.
I will pay the extra money for exactly what I WANT because if I don't I'm going to be spending even more later to get what I WANTED all along.......

These boats are unreal you'll probably be happy with a 230 or a G21, but will you always have that thought in the back of your mind "I wish I got the g23" ???

I still think you should work a deal on that Green 16......

Or how bout a smoking deal on the stolen recovered 18 everyone has seen a picture of??? Haha

We have a G21 17 and love it..coming from a Mastercraft which was a nice boat. The only thing I can say about the 21 is the cooler is kind of a pain, but fit, finish, surf, wake, etc are excellent Would have went 23 but slip, marina, lift, couldn't handle it..we use stock balasst and you can dial n big, small, long, short, ramp wake pretty easy..can't help u on the 230, never been in one. Good Luck. Awesome boats for sure.

I did and it's quite adequate. Surfs awesome.

However, as surfinjosh pointed out, I do WANT a G23 ultimately. Sooooo, I am trying to put together a deal on a G23. Stay tuned...

Honestly my biggest issue is that although I can fit a 23 in my garage, it will significantly impede my mobility around the garage and force my wife to go outside to get in and out of her car (I have a 3 car tandem and the boat would have to back into the tandem spot a bit. I would also lose access to me outside man door where we store the garbage. The other side of the garage MIGHT work but it's only 24.5 long and apparently need 25.5 ft for a G23. But if I take off the surf pipe, and drop the NCRS plate, I might be able to get it to within 24.5 while kissing the wall. I would also have to raise my elevated storage (I have a 13' ceiling and a 9' door).
