tthejean. Sounds like you are leaning on the G23 as far as use on the water so get what you will be happy on the water with vs getting G21 because it creates less issues in your garage . If you don't get the G23 vs G21, I think you will be sorry later down the road. Anyway my two cents

Hey thejean. Sounds like the 210 would be your best option. You have marina so don’t need the G storage. You carry smaller crews and dont wakeboard so wakeboard wake is not a big deal. And the 210 would fit best in your garage. Plus you would save a ton of cash.

I have a G21 and have ridden the G23 quite a bit. I like both but the G21 fit better for me. We usually run with a smaller crew 4-6 people. The wakeboard wake is perfect and I keep playing with the surf wave. The wake is what mattered most to me. There are some options you can get on the G23 that are nice but I have not been disappointed that I don't have them. It is really just what fits best and what you want to spend.

If you buy a G23 and plan to park it in your garage, I am worried that you will be pissed off by all the maneuvering and inconvenience to put it an out of your garage every week. The boat might become more of an annoyance than a fun run.
If I were you I will evaluate the cost of outside storage, and make sure it is financially viable in case the garage idea become a bummer.

I do have outdoor storage available, just not close to home is all, which may not be a big deal at the end of the day.
Other option is to cut the hitch between the front steps and the winch and have a piece HSS that forms a sleeve that I insert and bolt into place. I talked to my brother in law who does this kind of thing everyday in his job and he said it's no problem at all to do this. In summer all I would have is a few bolt heads showing. That would allow me to back a G23 straight into the garage on the short side. I don't like the idea of modifying the trailer but it is an option...

Well, I've finally made a decision and here it is!
A huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread - you all gave me great feedback, which really helped me make the decision and steer me in the right direction. Seems like the Nautique family is a great one to be part of!Last edited by thejean; 10-03-2017, 11:40 PM.
