Chromax Color Change Overlay From DomedNumbers.com

I have no affiliation with domednumbers.com but this is a product I'm interested in and wanted to share with others.

A new product available from DomedNumbers.com being test by Action Water Sports in AZ.

Change the color of your Chromax "SUPER AIR NAUTIQUE" badge by adding domed decals over it. Application is "super easy" according to the folks at Domed Numbers since your just basically applying a decal over the letter.

    https://www.domednumbers.com/online-...ecal-p93373527

It appears to lay over the top of the letter and leave the sides exposed. It does not cover the G emblem.

My boat is in storage for the winter but I'd be interested in hearing some first hand experience if anyone goes this route so I can possibly do it in the spring time.

Wonder how they will hold up to bumpers rubbing against them?

I was thinking the same because I just had to replace the doming letter strip under the G23 medillion because of the bumper rubbing against it

This is definitely a cheaper option then the route I took. When I bought my G23 2017 very similar color scheme as yours ,I order black chromax letters, and I had passed the change order date so I could not change them. With labor it cost me $1,200 dollars to change them from black to white. At the time this dome number alternative option was not available.

Be careful with some of the special color options. White should be fine. But some of the colors like Reef you may end up with some fading. I ordered my registration numbers in Masters Blue and placed them under the rubrail. Even though they are as out of direct sunlight as possible in that location, they've still faded just a touch. Granted they still look good, just a bit faded.

Install might be tricky is what I think to get them perfect over the existing letters.

Since just registration numbers are pretty pricey, I would imagine these are in the couple of hundreds?

It looks fine, but I am not sure what was wrong with the chrome in the first place on this boat, since at first glance, I cannot even tell something is different with the new stickers. If you don't like chrome, there is still chrome on the tower, transom, gas cap, cleats and trailer rims. Now the 'G' underneath the stickers looks a little out of place.

The white POPS off the blue! So much more so than the chrome. Very nice and a great aesthetic improvement IMO.

Can you take an up close pic of the decal to show how it adheres to the chromax? How was install?
