    Help with 211 ballast setup

I have a 2006 211 and currently use a pair of wedge sacks (filled manually) on top of the hards tanks. I am trying to decide whether to purchase the piggybacks from wakemakers for my current setup or to get rid of the wedge sacks and hard tanks and replace with larger sacks. Opinions/experience?

    Thanks, Brandon

I completely removed all the hard tanks on my 211. It provides more space for gear when the bags are empty and makes it easier to get at the engine if you do your own work. I also had the old style aerator pumps on my boat, so I replaced them with ballast puppies. After removing the hard tanks I plumbed in a 400# sac on each side of the engine bay. I was limited here because of the space the walk-through takes up on the port side. In the belly I was able to fit a 650# sac, but the boat always performed better with the belly sac half full. For surfing I lay a 350# sac on top of the walk-through. One of the best upgrades I ever made to the boat was swapping out the stock prop with an Acme 1578 Click image for larger version
