I’ll be ordering a new 210 soon and am debating between the strapless racks vs the regular racks. It’s a significant price increase but I like the idea of getting rid of the straps and having the boards sit vertically. Looking for opinions from those that have used both. Do you find them to be a significant upgrade in terms of ease of use? Primarily will be used on surfboards.

Im thinking of upgrading racks with straps on my G23 2017 with the Roswell Triton Strapless racks. I have asked several folks and they prefer these racks vs the OEM strapless ones from Nautique. Plus the Roswell racks allow you a painted version to match your hull color or another color of your choosing.

I know they charge a boatload of money for the Roswell racks if you buy them aftermarket...has anyone asked how much they would discount the boat if you didn't order the racks on a G series boat? (They come standard with the Gseries)

$1800 upgrade so it accounts for the value of the standard rack

Keep in mind that certain brands of surfboards will not warranty their boards if the boards are stored on top of the bimini or on board racks. They must be kept out of the sunlight when not in use. At least this is what a Ronix retailer told me when my surfboard swelled up. In fairness to them they replaced my board despite their claim. I actually mentioned this to Nautique during my tour. I'll be looking for some better boards next year but go figure.
