    Correct Craft Q/A Program

New to the site, and very impressed with the site.

    Well here's the situation.

Sold my 95 Ski in 3/06 and ordered a 06 206 Team. Boat arived with major issues (IMO). Hydro Gate installed with no lever or mechanism back to the gate, hole in engine hatch vinyl, wrong decals on side of boat and composite platform instaed of teak. My dealer sent the order in with all options identified but apparently the Q/A person was off the day my boat was to be inspected. My dealer is actively correcting CC's mistake and I have nothing but high regards for my dealer.

    Just had to vent!!!!

Any other issues out there like mine??????

    Thank you!!

    RE: Correct Craft Q/A Program

Decals, platform, and vinyl damage are easily excuseable in my book but no hydrogate lever??? As these boats are getting more complicated it seems that they are not paying attention to details for the options. My 2005 had a few issues with the options but nothing too bad. I guess I buy a Correct Craft because I feel they have the best hulls in the industry. I can fix most of the other stuff on a boat so it works for me. It's interesting that I have seen similar posts on another site directed toward several other manufactures. As an industry the quality bar has been falling in recent years.

        CC's Q/A Program

Correct, the decals, platfrom and vinyl are small issues but never the less should not be overlooked. These boats are the highest quality and the cost reflects the quality.

The Hydrogate issue is major in the fact that the complete installation was not completed at the factory and will have to be finished at the dealer. My concern is that I will have to travel more than 8 hours to pick up the boat (no dealer in my state) and I'm thankful the dealer caught this before I left to get the boat.

The dealer has met and exceeded my expectations through this whole order process and I would highly reccommend them. After I get the boat and the dust settles I will post the dealers name.

I know it will all work out, I am just READY to have my new 206!!!!!!!!!

        Thanks for the replys!!!!!
