Pretty sure you are looking at my boat. Obviously I'm biased but yeah its plenty. I started a thread on this that got pretty heated. Most of the people that said it wasn't enough have never experienced the boat or had any time in one with a 343.
The guys that chimed in that owned one all said it was plenty.
You got some time to come look at it if you want and experience it yourself!!!!!
If you're using stock ballast and only a few people, it will be just fine. If you are consistently loaded with 10-12 people and wanting to still ride with full ballast, it may struggle to get on plane.
I opted for the 409 when I had my 2014 G21 because I was coming from a 230 with the 409. After using it for a year, I could see myself having the 343 and being happy.
A friend of mine has the 343 in his Z3 and we’ve slammed it over 5k in ballast and it still had a ton of power. Never much over 3k in rpms, it just comes down to the prop you put on
I think you "discussed" the prop/power issue for longer than you actually had the boat before you put it on sale. Kind of makes me wonder what is really going on. But I am a cynical person. So, yeah, sure, whatever.
You came across as pretty committed to the boat with the 343 motor. I guess not. Now you can spend a week telling us that your lack of commitment has nothing to do with the motor, right?

I still have no idea what you are referring to. You are cynical? What is this some kind of conspiracy? Am I a dealer trying to convince the world that the 343 motor is great in the G so I can sell my boat?
Like I said, as soon as I buy a boat it goes up for sale. Boat flipping. I've owned 5 boats in 5 years. Not by accident.
You say "committed". In no way did I give that impression. I am "confident" in that motor but never once did I discuss keeping it long term.
Not sure why you care but internet stalking is the sincerest form of flattery.

It's really shocking that you made it to 1000 posts on this forum. Your attitude is terrible. Do you actually have anything positive to contribute here, or are you just planning to poke sharp sticks at everyone?
Honestly, that is how I felt. Those are my thoughts. Sorry, I offended you Charles. You want me to do like you did, Charles, and delete some of my old posts, like a week later after you decide what you said in the past is not acceptable?
There you are with your horrible attitude once again. Do you have anything at all to contribute to this forum? You go from thread to thread posting irrelevant, antagonizing comments. Most of them have nothing whatsoever to do with the subject. What are you after? Clearly you have a huge "beef" with Nautique and are expecting something to come from this. Do you think someone from Nautique is eventually going to come along, read your ranting and say "Wow, we should really give this guy some parts or money to make him happy?" Or do you believe if you post enough venom a bunch of us will jump in with you and somehow persuade Nautique to do something?
Nope, don't want anything from Nautique. I am good.
Too bad your not proud enough of your posts to leave them, without deleting later. You just want to change history to not show the bad advice you posted in the past? Why you changing this thread to be about you and me? Why don't you start a new thread for that?
I think my "beef" with Nautique is about as equal as your rose colored glasses feelings toward them.
If Scott wasn't on the forum, all we would have is bad winterizing advise from charlesml3 and questionable posts from DocPhil Like first claiming his friend wants to buy an underpowered g21. Which he will later edit to say he wants to buy an underpowered g21. Which then becomes a heated discussion where he refuses to acknowledge a valid reason for owning a g21 with an engine other than a 343. Then he will never mention he bought the boat until a month later when it's all of a sudden for sale.
Oops, that was kind of harsh....I'll delete my comment in a week.
