Which hull color for best look over the long haul?

Looking to order a new G23 for 2018 and am considering white, Black, or dark blue for the hull. This is my first Nautique and my first new boat in many many years.

My current boat is a white hull and it has held up nicely for many years. Only issue is when it sits in the water for more than a couple of days on our lake it shows a scum line which is easily removed with some mild acid but you have to get it out of the water and up on a lift. This has me thinking about a black or dark blue hull, however, in reading posts here many have talked about bunk trailers and lifts scratching up the cell goat pretty good. For those of you with a white hull...are you glad you have it? For those of you with a dark hull, do you wish you had gone with white?

Thanks...and thanks to all that contribute to this forum. I have learned a ton from you all.

I'd say white is best for long term. But it sounds like you know the pros and cons already, so just pick something dope looking that you love. And in the end, any color is cleanable/fixable from minor wear.

White for sure. Doesn't show minor scratches like dark colors.

All depends on how much time you want to spend wiping down, etc. Nothing looks better than dark color but you put more time into keeping it looking great too. I was a little nervous about the black hull on my boat but it has not been a big deal to keep looking really good

White wins every time. It’s not going get as much attention at the dock as a smurf blue or jet black, but the white boats don’t show wear, clean easy and in my opinion have have really clean, classy and timeless visual lines. Disclaimer I own a white 230, so obviously I’m biased!

            My biased opinion...

Lots and lots of Hot Sauce, but totally worth it!

I am a fan of colored hulls. If you take care of it and do not power load the boat in dirty water the scratches will be minimal. Even if it does scratch they will be in places no one will see.

I've always had white hulls before so this last time I went with black because I wanted something different. I love it. As SteeleWake mentioned I do keep a supply of Hot Sauce around but it hasn't been that bad. I do see some mild scuffs where it rubs the trailer but unless you climb underneath you'd never see it. I think it makes my boat unique. White looks good too.
