Darn the snow starts earlier in Washington state. Still waiting to get mine winterized after my warranty work is completed by dealer here in the Virginia

What do you guys use the gs22 for? Ski, boarding, surfing, tubing, cruising? I really like the GS series and the 22 is the right size for my needs but I haven't demo'd one yet. I did demo the 20 and really liked it, but I really like the rear facing seats in the 22.
Great looking boat!

Well, we got our 22 in June and use it for everything. There are various threads on here that express views on how good the wake, or lack thereof, is for an activity, but we have found it to be very, very good for everything. We ski in the morning, then surf/wakeboard in the afternoon and cruise in the evening. Put about a 100 hours on it from July 4th weekend to mid October (Carolinas have a long season!). We love it, and my spouse loves the rear facing seats too. But we are not experts at any one activity, just enthusiastic. We have surfed behind a G23 and skied behind a Prostar and those boats are both better at their individual specialties, but we are quite comfortable having one boat do everything, even if its at a slightly less expert level. Frankly, couldn't be happier.

Great pics - very nice looking boat! I'd love some input....I'm wrestling with buying a GS 22. I really like the size and quality but wrestling with the surf wave. Have any of you guys used some fat sacks or have plug and play ballasts? Does it need more weight than what came from the factory? We are surfers and skiers - and cruise around. I thought the boat really handled well. Just not sure about the surf wave. Help.

We love the boat, we put 88 hours on it since August. We’ve surfed behind bigger surf waves and our boat, you have to put more weight on the front foot then on other boats with bigger waves. My wife is 125 pounds and I’m 160 and we are both able to do it. We haven’t tried fat sacs yet. Also it is a longer wave then height so you can fall back more. We had a mastercraft prostar 190 and the ski wake is better on the gs22. We found the the best ski wake at 30 mph is 15 off form the pylon. Couldn’t be happier!
