Unless that engine has been neglected, it'll be fine. If we do the stupid comparison and figure a car averages 50mph, then 1100 hours is 55,000 miles. That's nothing. On top of that, a boat engine runs in a MUCH cleaner environment. I bet that engine is within 90% of new on the compression test.

Which I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been. All service done weekly at wizard lake marine.
Just a thought , but if it is for a school , as is wakepilot , don't you need a boat that is very reliable, you will
put on a few hundred hours a year on it. Why not look at a left over 230 I am sure you can get good deal.
I dont think you will will want to slalom behind a g21

I don’t know, the 230 just doesn’t do it for me and they’re pricy.
Lol that’s why you have friends with ski Nautiques and responses
Living in SoCal metropolia I think our average speed is 30 mph or lower.
So.... even lower miles than Charles cited above at 1100 hours.
Id save the money all day long and buy the higher hours if condition is great.
Heck you’d probably make money just selling it in the future in the spring time. If you negotiate the buy properly.
I just bought an ‘07 tundra 5.7. It drives and runs like new. Very tight feel.
I’ve got a 99 land cruiser with 260k miles and runs like new too. Burns zero oil. I guess this is around 8500 hours on it
