2002 San in a single bay garage door

Hey fellas. Just wondering if anyone has fit a og super air into a single garage door. Height is standard 7 foot so I should be able to tightly squeeze height wise. But now I’m worried about width. I️t sits on a tandem ramlin trailer. I rough measured guide pole to guide pole and came up with a little less than 8 ft. Am i dreaming to get the boat in or is there anyone who does get one to fit in a standard single door?

I put my 03 air in a 2 car garage with a 7 foot high door. It is a tight squeeze height wise. I hand push it in and out using a low furniture dolly under the front of the trailer so the tower legs will clear. I'm not sure you will be able to clear the width.

I'm waiting for the day when my kids dent the current door so I can reframe and go to a taller door.

Thanks for the reply dave. Yeah I’m thinking width wise it’s a no go

Found out the single bay is 9ft width. Anyone had any luck?

Door itself will be 9ft, but you will lose a couple inches on each side cause of trim, etc. So guessing you will have 8ft 8" in the clear for width. If trailer is 8ft wide, you can do it with some precise driving and a spotter.
I am starting to build my new house in Jan and cannot get my boat in new garage cause simply no way to get the 30ft length I need for my boat without screwing up the architectural design and HOA has a bunch of rules about that stuff which is downside to living in lake neighborhood and I wont have a dock...there is a "day dock" owned by HOA. There is boat storage lot next to my house for the boat owners, but I don't know if they will let me build anything to cover boat like a simple metal enclosed carport style building. Guessing I will have to get a custom cover made that goes over tower and includes side skirts and just live with it till I upgrade again in 2 more years to lakefront with dock. Gonna hate not having my boat at home with power to run fans and all the other perks I have now. Spose there are worse things in life people have to deal with tho.

I use to put my 2008,2012 on boat mate trailer in single car. Use to put the 2006 ski on tandem ez loader in too. Need to bring your A- game to get in. About 1 inch on each side. Really the hard part is getting it out. You need your A+++++ game to do that. Use to do it every weekend never hit the door to trailer. Out is Way harder.

Thanks for the response guys. Infinity I️m in the same situation. But I️m just happy to be 20 seconds away from the lake instead of 20 minutes.

I used to put a 2001 SAN in a single bay garage with 7' door. It was a tight squeeze but very doable.

I put a 2001 OG 210 in a single garage door all the time. No issues at all. Its 8 ft tall so I still have to fold tower down, but width is no problem at all.

Once you know the total amount of room you have, you only really need to see one side. If you have 4" total, just put one side as close as you can, by looking in your mirror or out the window, then you know you have the remainder on the other side. If you're lucky it's a straight shot, and you can see both sides at once, but you really don't need to.

In any case, most states don't allow trailers over 8'6" wide without special permits, so if you're at 9' width you're more than fine. One garage I used to use had 3 standard doors and fit a few ski boat trailers just barely. You get used to it!

Functionoverfashion has the method down. That's the approach i use to get my 04 SAN in and out of a single door. I've kept it in there for 7 years now with no issues. You get use to it, it's second nature now, usually goes in the first try.
