Just couldn't resist the new features on the '18 models. My head will thank me for not banging on speakers anymore. Love the board racks and of course had to go with the steering assist. I hope it makes a difference. I trailer a lot so having some additional maneurvability around the docks will be nice. Went with triples and 18" wheels. Also ditched the black bottom for white. I am way too fussy and the bunk scratches are a pain to sand and polish away. Should care so much with white. Anyway - April delivery. Let's hope for no delays.

I did not request a delay. I hope you are right. Maybe my dealer was being conservative. He said late May or early April.

I think the time frame you were given is accurate. My G23 order went in this month as well, and am looking at March/April for delivery.2018 SAN G23 XR550

Yea, I'd think that you'd be looking at July or so if you placed an order in April. I'd have to assume that the production timing might change a bit in the summer...right now they are probably cranking out nearly every model they offer. Would assume that production of some of the models will slow down, and open up capacity to do more of their big sellers. I'm pretty sure that June/July orders have a good chance to be 2019 model years.2018 SAN G23 XR550

It's not technically a first come first serve order of operations....most dealers will buy a "boat build slot" in hopes to fill that slot by boat show season. I've seen some dealers make it all the way to a Feb boat show and still have a march boat build time frame available. When I purchased my signed for my '16 boat in Oct of '15, I chose the March delivery build frame he had as opposed to the 1 Feb, and 2 Aprils he had left.
