You are exactly right. It's perfectly appropriate to discuss and compare other boats. It's how we stay informed and this feedback should help Nautique building better boats.

I have owned 12 inboards including 3 G23s, which we now use specifically for surfing. I have tested the Mastercraft X23, Centurion Ri237, Supra SA, and the new SL. In my opinion the new SL has a very nice wave. I can't say that about the X23 and SA. But in my opinion Nautique builds the highest quality boat of the bunch. If money were an issue for me I might get an SL or Ri237. But for me the build quality of the G23 is worth it. I just hope Nautique does not rest on its status. Because in the competitive surfing scene Centurion and now Supra are coming on strong. If Nautique does not continue to improve the wave quality the other boats will gain greater surf market share.

I have a gs22 and love it. Surf wave is fantastic as is the wake boarding wake. We don’t have anyone who slaloms but still made the choice for this boat over the G23 for the lower speed wakeboarding for the smaller kids and how absolutely fun it is to drive. Very sporty and quick handling. You honestly can’t go wrong with either purchase but we do love our GS22.
