I found photo from 1988 of my Uncle and my 11 year old self. This was Lake Berryessa at Spanish Flat resort. I know this is not a Nautique, but thought it would be cool to share. He had this boat from 1988 until 1994 when he purchased his Ski Nautique.
When I purchased my '79 Ski Nautique, he always said the '79 drove and handled like his American Skier. I remember the American Skier being a bit wider and longer than the '79.
My Uncle had a friend, Bill, that was located at Steele Canyon with the exact same year and color American Skier. It was cool to hang in the cove with two of the same boats. Those were some great mornings watching my Uncle barefoot.
