Ameritex bimini or other ?

Hi All ...

Recently received our 05 211 Team and am currently looking for a bimini. Our dealer deals with the Ameritex bimini. I've read the recent threads on the Tower Bimini and everyone seems quite satisfied with the Tower unit.

I certainly seem to like the clamps of the Tower bimini's in comparison to drilling into our tower.

Any comments on the Ameritex units would certainly be appreciated before I plunk down some more cash.

Haven't used nor heard of Ameritex, but I will tell you - the Tower Bim's are worth every penny. I was hesitant too at first, but if you look at the quality it is pretty darn solid.

I agree w/ JoeCos 100%. The TowerBiminis are the best stuff you can buy for your tower. I think most here will agree that you will not regret it at all if you make the wise choice to buy one....

CC use a lot of Ameritex Biminis themselves. We have one and it looks good, especially with the 'N' logo on it. No complaints on either

After spending the weekend on my buddies malibu with an over the tower bimini (also by Tower) I am starting to re-consider my previous dislike for over the tower bimini's?

Over the top biminis are the way to go if you have the right kind of tower. The new 210 and 220 towers look great with over the top biminis.

I have had Johnson tops on my last 2 boats, Malibu and CC 196 both without towers and was very happy with them. They are out of California and make a great custom multicolor top.

My new 206 will have a Towerbimini top and these folks are also out of California. They too make a awesome product. If you have a tower I would suggest the Towerbimini way to go. Great designs and awesome fit and finish.

This is my 196 with the Johnson Bimini top for refrence.
