    The owners manual for this boat is in the reference section the site. http://www.planetnautique.com/Correc.../1995/95SP.pdf. That will help answer your transmission and oil change questions. I usually change my tranny oil every other season. You have a 1.23:1 PCM transmission. I wouldn’t worry too much about an alignment until you try a fresh prop. 99% of the time that will fix any shimmy/ vibration issues.

      I'd run the acme 1868 if you're going to put a lot (2,000+ lbs) ballast. It will run higher RPM over stock, get less fuel economy, and lose some top end. You will get a lot more quickness on the start (hole shot) with the 1868. I have it on my 99 sport and love the way it runs. If you don't plan on running ballast get the other one fixed. Another option Is to just get both repaired. Always good to have a spare. Do you have a prop pulled?

        Yea I yanked it off and got it sent away lastnight the thing looks good but I’ve read places that Dosent mean it’s working good

            So that boat what was the best sequence for ballast set up? I’ve ordered a wave shaper too to be able to clean up the wake for surfing . Any suggestions with experience how to weigh that sucker down . Maybe more weight on one side ? Same side as shaper ? i don’t know

                There are are very reputable shops that repair props for a fraction of replacement cost. IMO repaired props are the best option.

                Call a shop and make sure the previous owner has the correct props on it for many reasons, almost too many to list but seems to be a newbie’s most overlooked issues,

                  Well got the boat out with fixed prop and sings across the lake like a dream.! Kicked up a amaising wake for boarding fully loaded sacks . Me and my buddy moved sacks around spent the day trying different configurations with wake sharper and weight but couldn’t quite get the curl we needed to keep forward pressure on the board for surfing . Bought a big hunk of steel to but in the back corner . And modified my shaper. going to try again tomorrow but I don’t think it’s gonna preform like I expected .
