    Ordered 2018 GS22

Very excited buy my very first new boat - always purchased used previously. Traded in my 2008 SN 206 with Factory tower, zero off, etc. Loved this boat as I enjoy slalom and have taught my triplet boys to ski - they also enjoyed their instroduction to wake boarding behind this boat however they are now at the age and size where an upgrade is needed. I personally could have lived with my SN 206 for many more years but my slalom needs are out weighed by full family sport and fun. It was a no brained for me to select the GS22 - my slalom needs, interest in surfing and getting by boys surfing, skiing and wakeboarding. Decided on the 22 over the 20 for the additional room over the 20 feet we have been used to over the past several years. Can’t wait to take delivery!

PS. - Order identical to the colors displayed on the Nautique Website for the GS22. Love the old school metal flake, mystic white hull and sand interior.
    Thanks!

I am up on Lake Nottely but I believe we have met on Lanier a few years back for a meet up - Do you also tow your boat with van tricked out with similar graphics as your Nautique?
      Thanks!

Congrats Salty, that is really exciting, still remember the anticipation of my first brand new boat to arrive!!

Have you slalomed behind a GS boat yet?? Curious how the wake compares.

          Still have your Southwind??

How the wake compares to what is the question.
How it compares to any direct drive - it's impossible to get a vdrive wake flat enough to compare.
How it compares to most other vdrives - pretty good I'd say. 34 and 36 mph and it gets fairly flat, at slower speeds it is a bump, but it's softer than most other vdrives. I don't regret buying my GS22, but I still have my old Ski - although I may sell it this spring.

We will be on Nottely July 13 for a Supra gathering. Maybe you can stop by if you don't mind slumming with the Supras.

Nautique Hunter - putting it in my calendar as we speak and would love to catch up with all boaters!
Quinner - I have not yet skied behind a GS22 - heck, I haven't even driven one. I just know my needs - I ski, my kids ski, and we all want to wake surf hence the GS22. No brainer for me. If you recall, you were helpful to my decision in buying my 2008 SN 206 as you had/have one - blue I believe. Loved that boat - made some good upgrades, seadek on the platform, Fusion head unit with xm, Roswell tower speakers, and swapped out the perfect pass for Zero Off - plug and play. Awesome - hated to trade it in. Someone is going to end up with a great boat!
And yes - I still have the Southwind! I need to replace the damper plate this week-end - other than that she runs and looks like new.
                Thanks!

All I'll say is that you will love the GS22. Its a little different at first with all the adjustability to the ride that can be done with the NCRS. It handles amazingly. Love ours, came from an 05 Xstar. Get excited!

Ordered before Christmas and just got my new GS 22. Love it. Still too cold to surf, but it won't be long.

Sounds to me like the perfect use case for a GS-22. All of the factors you listed are consistent with the overall design goals of that boat.
