    Pebble 2 for surf select?

I’ve read few post about it but they all seems to date a little bit (at least a year).

anyone use the pebble watch for surf select? It seems the Nautique apps work just with the original pebble,
maybe things change since a year!
The original pebble doesn’t exist anymore. Not able to buy it anywhere..
is anyone using the pebble 2 SE ?
    thanks

Yes, that is what I’ve been using on my 2017 G23. I even bought an extra one since they are out of business. The question I have is-does the pebble work with the JL head unit that is used on the 2018s? My Polk head unit and transom unit will be exchanged for the JL unit in March...

On my 2017 G23 I have been using the Pebble Time model. I have a Pebble 2 but I have confirmation it will not function with the Surf Select function.

So technically the Pebble doesn't talk to the head unit at all. It talks to the LINC which in turn, talks to the head unit. When you press the button on the Pebble to turn the volume up or down, it's exactly the same as pressing the button on the LINC.

Have the pebble 2 se and can't for the life of me get it to pair. have tried all the steps.... pair to phone, go to rebble, get surf select. unpair phone. turn off bluetooth on EVERYTHING except pebble and boat. Went to bluetooth screen on watch. attempted to pair on Boat... timed out... every time

Just throw the Pebble 2 in the garbage can . Confirmed it will not pair with Surf Select will only pair with phone . I had one as well and learned it would not pair . Use Pebble Time or Pebble Classic. Don’t waste anymore time with the Pebble 2 , it is worthless for Surf Select applications

Correct. I tried every version of firmware available for the Pebble 2 and it will not work with Surf Select. Nautique never listed it as a supported model either. The only supported models are:

                  - Classic
                  - Steel
                  - Time
                  - Time Steel

You will also note , I revised my 2018 post because like you I was able to download all the surf select info to the Pebble 2 watch but I never paired with boat because I always liked to use my Pebble Time when I surfed . It was not until Charles asked me to see if my Pebble 2 would pair with my boat and after I tested it , the watch never paired with the boat .
