I would scrap the heater. I think the heated seat are great but the heater is a waste of money and not very effective. Everyone has there own opinions, but if I was purchasing a new 2018 G23 I would not get the exterior overlay graphics as shown, I prefer a cleaner less cluttered look. Although my G23 2017 does not have the colored lighting option, I do have the illuminated cup holders which are blinding when you turn them on therefore I never use that feature. I do have the underwater lighting but mine are only white; I wish they had the color lighting option so I could have had the underwater lighting in a blue color as opposed to only a white option on the 2017s. I do like your simple color choice with the black and white; very classy but I would make the tower black vs gray. I black tower would stand out more than the gray. It would completely change the look of the boat but a black hull may bring the boat all together. Anyway my 2 cents.

So it looks to me like you're going for a more conservative/classic look, yes?

I like those too. In Wisconsin, you're making good choices going with a heater and heated seats.

Options you may want to consider:

      - Transom mounted stereo remote. If you tend to hang out and float behind the boat, this is really handy. It's also handy if you have a new surfer and someone coaching. The "coach" can adjust the stereo volume.

      - Phender Pro - If you "dock hop" a lot, these are handy.

      - Surf Select - If you surf at all, you should definitely go with Surf Select. It may sound gimicky, but it's MUCH easier for the rider to adjust the NSS, NCRS, Speed, etc. from back there.

      - Walk-Through air dam - This is a no-brainer. You will most certainly need this in the spring and fall when it's cool.

Other things I like are the Underwater Lights. We like to hang out at night on the lake. They're pretty neat, but not a must-have. I accidentally ordered the Bow Filler Cushion on my 230. When it came in, I figured I'd put it in the closet and never use it but I was completely wrong. It's really handy. In NC, we're required to keep the square throwable out. It can't be inside a compartment or anything. It can, however, sit just under the bow filler cushion with the strap hanging out. It's the perfect place for it.

Are you ordering a cover for the boat? You can get speaker covers with the boat but the ones from http://www.speakersox.com/home.htm are much cheaper.

I certainly would not order that dorky table. I don't know anyone that has it.

Everyone uses their boat differently, and have different things they love. Some thoughts on our '16 G23.

Things I would not have previously included, but now that I have had it I will never go back:
        • XR7 Engine - Love the additional power and flexibility it gives you. Closed cooling adds some convenience with winterizing, etc.
        • Pocket door air dam - Really nice and worth it.
        • Heat - Gets used at some point almost every trip.
        • Studio Elite sound - I like it, and I like that it is covered in the boats warranty.
        • Strapless board racks - Standard on '18, but should be on everyone else's upgrade list (the Tritons are the single best upgrade we have made to our G23)
Things that we have that I think are musts:
        • Battery maint system - Another great option to have, that is nice to be factory installed and under warranty.
        • Bimini
        • Cover
Things that we have that we don't use that much, that I would probably keep:
        • Surf Select - Strangely, we don't use the remote much, but this may grow over time.
        • Nav maps
        • XM Radio - Have it, use it some, not primary
Things I would have to think hard about:
        • Underwater lights - Seems like there are so many good aftermarket options, but factory install is nice.
        • Phender Pro - I have heard the dealer can install them after-market for less (not verified)
        • Heated Seats
Things I probably would not order:
        • Transom stereo remote - Just does not get used.
        • Swim deck cover - Never use it (but I store indoors)
Things that I don't have, that I would order:
        • Enhanced interior lighting - new option
        • Transom Go Pro mount - we need this
        • 4 tower speakers
Things that I have not had, but would not order based on seeing others experience:
        • Bow / Deck fillers
        • Bow arm rests
        Other thoughts:
Our boat did not have the lighted cupholders, but I added red ones from Nautiqueparts. That worked really well, but I have seen the new adjustable interior lighting and it is cool. I would order this option. I agree with GMLIII on the sticker - less is more on the graphics for me. I can also go either way on the design package. On some boats it looks really good and adds a cool look, on others it can actually kind of complicate the look - just depends on what your design looks like.

Very detailed good info from Blueroom and Charlesml3. I would add eventhough I didn't mention them which are the Phender Pros. This is an expensive option for what you actually receive as an option but well worth it. Much easier to use your bumpers with these vs using the boat cleats. I much clearer look as well.

I had not seen someone mention the armrests prior. you wouldn't order the arm rests? curious if there was any problems with them?

Here it is without the graphics and with a white tower.

              Thanks for your feedback

A couple of things on this:

                - Yes, absolutely, Phender Pros can be added by the dealer. Actually, you can DIY it but at some point you're going to find yourself standing there with a drill getting ready to bore a hole into a $130,000 boat. Not for the faint of heart.

                - The Surf Select with the include remote is dorky and fairly useless. Now with the Pebble, it really shines. You will be surprised at how handy it is to be able to make small adjustments to NSS, NCRS and the boat speed. You can experiment and it makes a big difference.

From what I have seen, the armrests are seldom used and can even get in the way. Our bow seating is pretty dynamic, with people moving in and out. I suppose that someone riding up front for the 10-15 minute ride back to the dock might use them, but maybe not. I don't think there is any issue with them, and I wouldn't hate it if they happened to come on a boat I had, I probably would just not add them to an order. But everyones situation and use model is different.

Who knows, maybe if I had them I would add them to the would never have ordered, but now could not live without them column.

BTW - I would for sure do white lettering. The white on white looks amazing.

                      Where are you located?

For me heater is the most important option, definitely a must. I’d take a heater over a stereo! It all depends on the climate, being on the water before 8 at the end of summer up here in Canada can be a little freezing.

Underwater lights are important to us because we actually use them. If you aren’t out evenings, no need.

How do you listen to music? Are you a radio station kinda guy or a make a playlist on the phone, that’ll make the XM worth it or not.

I’m in Virginia so we have a mild climate, but I find the heater system lame at best . Heated seats are great but heater system is terrible. If you know something I’ m missing about the heater system please let me know

Dude, it really sounds to me like something is wrong with your heater. I wonder if one of the hoses is pinched or partially blocked off? I know mine will heat like a bandit. Same on my neighbor's G23. In fact, he's the reason I ordered my 230 with a heater.
